Oasis @ MAAP The Online Asperger Syndrome Information and Support (OASIS) center has joined with MAAP Services for Autism and Asperger Syndrome to create a single resource for families, individuals, and medical professionals who deal with the challenges of Asperger Syndrome, Autism, and Pervasive Developmental Disorder / Not Otherwise Specified (PDD/NOS).
Family Voices of North Dakota FV of ND has been assisting families of CYSHCN since 1997, when Executive Director Donene Feist, a mother of a young child with hearing impairment, recognized the need for family assistance in navigating health care systems.
Family Voices of Minnesota Family Voices of Minnesota’s Mission Family Voices aims to achieve family-centered care for all children and youth with special health care needs and/or disabilities.Through our state and national networks, we provide families tools to make informed decisions, advocate for improved public and private policies, build partnerships among professionals and families, and serve as a trusted resource on health care.
Pathfinders Parent CTR ND History The Pathfinder Parent Center is a statewide non-profit organization. We were started in 1987 by a small group of ND families. These parents received a grant from the U.S. Department of Education to become ND’s statewide parent training and information center. Today we serve over 2000 parents of children that are at-risk due to learning challenges or have disabilities (age birth to 26).
Parent to Parent ND ND Parent to Parent (NDP2P) is a program of Family Voices of ND (FVND). Our goal is to decrease family stress and isolation and increase family’s knowledge and use of community resources. We believe in the innate strength of families and empower families to be the best they can be.
Autism Society MN The Autism Society of Minnesota exists to enhance the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorders. AuSM seeks to realize its mission through education support, collaboration, and advocacy.
